My goddess's name is Sabele. She is the goddess of bubbles. You know, when you were little, you blew bubbles with soap and water. They're very... pretty, I think. Her sacred animal is the giraffe, because she is eccentric, and she is said to have a very long neck, like a giraffe. Sabele does not fight. She believes that violence is not the answer, and she's too fragile to fight. She is, in a way like a bubble. You hurt her, she nearly pops. Sabele isn't like most gods, because many are able to fight without being injured or killed. Yes, gods are immortal, but she gets hurt very easily, like a bubble.
She is described to be very beautiful. Silky blonde hair, not too short, not too long. Beautiful hazel eyes. But what set her apart from many other goddesses was that she wasn't like a twig. She had a figure that was more desirable than being a size 0. Like the saying, "A woman without curves is like a pair of jeans without pockets... You don't know where to put your hands!" That was true for Sabele.
When people anger her, Sabele blows a magic (destructible only by her) bubble to lock them inside of until they can prove they are going to behave well enough to be let out. If they try to escape before their "sentence" is up, the bubble lets off an electric shock to them, putting them in full-on paralysis for a few hours. That ought to make them learn their lesson, eh?
When Sabele was born, she came out of her mother, Komuco, goddess of glitter, in a bubble of glitter. That is why she is goddess of bubbles. Well, you might be wondering how a woman gives birth to glitter. Weird, right? Painful, you might think? Well I've got news for you, childbirth in general is painful. Anyway, it's said that the whole world saw Komuco give birth to Sabele because her "bubble" was so bright and brought everyone to her sight. And that is why she is so well known, for being so glittery and bubbly. Also, without her, there would be no such thing as bubbles. And without bubbles, everybody's childhood would be dull. Because bubbles are amazing and everyone loves bubbles.
